What comment would you like to make? For those I will not catch up with (although I will try) I wanted to thank you for all the kindness you showed to my mum. The dignity, care & love showed to my mum in the years she was with you was much appreciated by my mum and it was made so easy for me knowing how you all looked after her so well. She had her favorites and you know who you are, but she cared about you all. You sometimes have a very difficult job but you handle it with such compassion. I believe that the years she spent with you extended her life in quality and in time. You should all be very proud of yourselves.
Again thank you all and I will pop in from time to time. x

What comment would you like to make? On behalf of my dad and myself, just to say thank you for the care and attention you have shown to Dad during his long stay with you. I've enjoyed visiting Dad and always received a friendly welcome and a nice cup of coffee with the other residents. Thank you all once again and I will miss my visits

What comment would you like to make? This is an excellent care home, if Carlsberg did care homes this would be the one. Lovely people, could not be more happier with all aspects of the home. Would recommend to anybody

What comment would you like to make? My mother came to the home just under two years ago, having suffered the loss of her husband and son within a few months. At that time she was in a very low state of mind and depression. Due to the efforts the staff and doctors that gave her their attention at the home she has made an excellent recovery. She now considers "The Hollies" to be her home which she looks forward to returning to after a day out with relatives. She speaks very highly of the home and we know she is happy there.

What comment would you like to make? I never ever thought that my mother would have settled into a residential home as well as she has. This is all thanks to the kindness and loving care giving by management and staff at The Hollies. She is very happy in her new home and is so looking forward to getting her own room. She has found a group of ladies that she has made her friends and she sits with them most of the time. She seems to have got her old spark back with her witty and funny comments. She is enjoying her food very much although she is not a big eater. She speaks highly of the management and staff and enjoys the banter from everyone. Since my mother has been living at The Hollies I cant begin to tell you what pressure and worry has been lifted from me thanks to you all.

What comment would you like to make? Dear Mrs Sally Smith. I am writing to say thank you very much for the placement this week. I appreciate that work experience can probably be a pain and make a lot of extra work for you, and I hope that what Chris and I did, did actually help in some way, and if it didn't thanks for not letting it show! I would also like to thank you and the rest of the staff for tolerating us both and giving us tasks that were actually beneficial such as helping feed the residents since this really opened my eyes to what can happen in later life, and most likely what I'll be exposed to if I get the job I want as a doctor. I'd like to add that the feeding and so on didn't put me off becoming a doctor and I will still push myself as hard as I can to get that job, but experiences such as those are exactly what I wanted from this placement so thank you!

What comment would you like to make? Dear Peter. We just wanted to thank you for your care to our mother during her stay at The Hollies. It was a very difficult part of her life, especially as she could barely see or really even do anything for herself. I would also like to thank you for the kindness given to us and our families when we visited mum. I have sent in a £30 Millbrook Garden Centre which you might find a bit strange, but as mum loved her garden and flowers we thought you may be able to purchase a nice rose or shrub for the Hollies garden which all the residents and staff can enjoy seeing. Thank you again. Your name: Mick & Jill Hills
What comment would you like to make? We would just like to thank you for all the wonderful care and attention you gave to Emily while she was at The Hollies. We are very grateful that she was able to pass away so peacefully in familiar surroundings and that she was able to stay with you despite her obvious deterioration, and the demands this made on you all. Thank you also for the beautiful flowers that were sent.

What comment would you like to make? Everyone of us here at some time in our lives either rented or bought a house. What is the next step? We then get the great pleasure of turning this house into our home. We at The Hollies are lucky enough to find a home that has been made for us at a time when we are no longer able to take care of ourselves. The staff here are our friends and every endeavor is made to make us feel wanted and cared for. Especially during the christmas and new year season. The caring starts at the top with Sally and a crew of helpers, not forgetting the night staff standing by all night washing and ironing our laundry. The staff in the kitchen make sure we are fed and then we must not forget the ladies that keep the home clean, John the handyman doing all the little jobs and keeping the garden very pleasant to the eye, and of course Joan (admin) and Jacqueline (training) for sorting out our problems in the office while the phone rings non stop. Peter and Helen do everything to make Christmas special for us. I am sure you would like to give all these wonderful people a big Thank You for making Christmas very special for us.

What comment would you like to make? Dear Sally & Everyone, Thank you so much for the wonderful send off you all gave me. It was really great to see you all for a meal, thank you. I was absolutely astounded by all the gifts and money I received and I felt quite humble by it all. I most apologise for the delay in writing to you all, I found it quite difficult to express my gratitude to you all in a completely sincere way. I hope these few words capture my feelings. I hate to admit it but I do miss all the girls (and men!) I miss the banter, but don’t worry too much cause I’ll be back!!
